Why confess the word of god

The word of God in our mouth is the potter of our destiny in Him. Paul quotes David in our text as he lays an emphasis of faith in our confession. They are neither acquainted nor interested in the power of the word, but only practiced out of Christian tradition.

More than verbal connotations is the spirit of faith behind our words. What a poor use of the world-creating, planet-making words. Confession is not an option. John revealed;. And they the new creation overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation , emphasis mine. This is not God talking, this is the echo of His word in the mouth of His own, a victorious prophetic future expressed in past tenses for those who embrace the ministry of words in the now.

You begin to use God's Word wisely and effectively. As the body of Christ, however, he have an identity problem. Most of us have heard that we are to be Christ's representative, but the church as a whole has lost their understanding of WHOSE they are. When we understand who we belong to, then we begin to have a better understanding of WHO we are, and the authority we hold.

We are the chosen children of the Lord most high. We are joint heirs with Christ, and he tells us that we will do great and mighty things through his power. We have to understand that we are set apart, made in the image of God almighty, and we are meant to rule and reign in this life! Because Christ lives in us, we are Christ in the world.

The following scriptures explain in more detail how we are Christ in the earth:. JOHN When Jesus said greater things than these will you do these because I go to the Father, he meant it. Because of this, we have been given the authority and power to go out into the world and change the atmosphere. Take back what the enemy has stolen and change our culture. We are not meant to be quiet little church mice, but bold prayer warriors who understand that the Kingdom is ours! Without Jesus physically being here, he sent the helper the Holy Spirit.

He is our guide and the source of our power is the Bible.
