Redbox does not franchise. I work for them as an employee merchandizing the boxes. It is a very complicated business. The company has to make deals with every movie compnay to get their movies at a certain time and negotiate costs. I am talking use multimillion dollar contracts with each movie house. Besides the logistics of it all and maintenance of just the kiosks. They are a great company to work for and pay and benefits are way above what one might think.
