Droid incredible how long to charge battery

Gracing the front of the phone is a 4-inch, xpixel Super LCD touch screen. We definitely noticed the difference, as text and images looked sharper and more vibrant on the brilliant screen, and it holds its own against the iPhone 4's Retina Display and Samsung's Super AMOLED touch screens. That said, the screen does wash out in bright sunlight. The multitouch screen has a built-in accelerometer and proximity sensor and felt very responsive during our testing; launching applications, scrolling through menus or home screens, and using the pinch-to-zoom gesture posed no problems.

Helping phone navigation is HTC's Sense user interface, which brings a host of helpful interface tools and customization options, as well as a faster boot time. We have to say that HTC's virtual keyboard doesn't feel quite as fast as some of its competitors, but the layout is roomy and we found it easy to use. Below the display, you get the usual Android shortcuts: home, menu, back, and search.

However, HTC has added a cool touch: when you rotate the phone to landscape mode, the icons also rotate. Is it an earth-shattering feature? No, but we appreciate the attention to such fine details.

On the left side of the phone, there's a volume rocker and a Micro-USB port. The right spine is devoid of any controls, but we would have loved a dedicated camera button. The top of the device houses the 3. On the back you'll find an 8-megapixel camera and dual-LED flash.

Features The HTC Droid Incredible 2 is really more of an incremental upgrade to the original model, and as such, you won't see some of the latest technology and software on the handset, which is sure to disappoint some. That said, we are happy to see the addition of world-roaming capabilities. A network as usual, but once abroad, the phone will automatically detect and switch to a GSM network. The Droid Incredible 2 comes with a SIM card preinstalled, but Verizon has a policy where it will unlock the SIM provided that you've been a customer for more than 60 days and are in good financial standing.

Other voice features of the smartphone include a speakerphone, conference calling, voice dialing, and text and multimedia messaging. It also comes with a front-facing 1. The Droid Incredible 2 is 3G-only. Using Ookla's Speedtest. It's a far cry from the data speeds we got on the 4G-capable HTC ThunderBolt , but the upside is that your battery won't run out after several hours.

The smartphone also offers mobile hot-spot capabilities for up to five devices. The Droid Incredible 2 ships running Android 2. Verizon said that it's not sharing any details on whether it will bring the latest Android OS to the handset but added that it is committed to delivering the latest experience to its customers.

Given that the Incredible S is due to get the Gingerbread update during the second quarter of this year, we think it's pretty safe to say that the Droid Incredible 2 will also get it at some point. Might use it as paper weight. A great phone: I've had 5 years of trouble-free use. It is starting to struggle a bit now with some modern apps. Limited to Android 4. Screen is fairly low-res by today's standards, but perfectly acceptable.

Phone does not support the latest 4G technology, only 3G and 2G now discontinued in Oz. After 5 years the battery does not hold its charge like it once did, but still functions perfectly.

Found in Frankfurt i think airport in or so, my Incredible S has been a true veteran. Yes its got a cracked screen, yes its slow, yes its missing several components, yes its worth 4x less than my headphones but man this must be the most reliable phone i will or have ever owned or will own. It just soldiers on. Chinaphone died after i crashed my scooter, HTC was there for me.

After having this phone for three years, I can say that it's a great device all around, and in my experience, can take a beating. Several no-case drops have resulted in only a few cracks in the screen -- no spider webs. Camera quality, while outdated, is still good, especially with some small scale photo editing although the front facing camera is meh.

Rear-facing speaker is fine, too. Even so, the software shows its age: my internet browser randomly closes, my gmail app refuses to sync new accounts, Verizon maps will often show a blank screen when giving directions, and I commonly have to wait minutes for Incredible to load contacts, text threads, and even phone calls. It was a solid phone for a 2 year duration, with all the essentials you'll need in any smartphone; however, once you start seeing signs of buggy software, it quickly goes downhill.

AnonD, 02 Aug it is the charger port. You can try too repair it urself or send i
